City Palace of Jaipur

City Palace is palace complex with magnificent buildings, part of which is a museum.

Art Gallery and Museum – this is to the right of the entrance.

It’s an airless and dingy room. On the day of my visit it was packed with tourists and locals alike.

I nipped out within minutes of entering it  to wander around the open courtyard and to admire the buildings with relatively few people around! 

 This is Chandra Mahal palace, most of it is the residence of the descendents of the former rulers of Jaipur.
