Fátima

Fátima is a Catholic pilgrimage site, about 130 km north of Lisbon.

Although I am not Catholic nor a pilgrim I was more than happy to go on the trip for the photo opportunity!

I enjoyed seeing the splendour of Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary and the grounds.

There were plenty seats and steps stop for reflection. although it would probably be very crowded on holy days or special occasions, like the visit of Pope Francis the week before ours.
