The Pink City of Jaipur was not as ‘pink’ as the name suggested, but a mellow terracotta pink which made the buildings look particularly photogenic on a warm January morning. The colour of the buildings in the city may be warm but the traffic in and out of the city was definitely NOT welcoming! You had to take your life in your hands just to cross the road!
